On the weekend of 14, 15 and 16 June 2013 it's time for the 'International Beetle Weekend Wanroij' (formerly known as IBW Budel!). IBW Wanroij is a 3-day weekend of fun. But also makes for a great day out with the whole family! IBW visitors really are from all around Europe. The International Beetle Weekend initially is centred around the Beetle, however, they welcome all other models of classic Volkswagens. At the IBW just about the entire spectrum of classic Volkswagen is represented. Plenty to enjoy – also for VW Bus, Karmann Ghia and Buggy enthusiast. There’s something for everyone! On May 1st it was again time for the biggest one day aircooled VW show on the planet - at least I think it is... so we drove the car to Germany to check out the Mai Käfer Treffen in Hannover! Join us on a cruise to the Apex Festival, it will be held over the weekend of 18-19th May 2013 (With camping on Friday 17th too) and is going to take place at the Lydden Hill Race Circuit in Kent (UK)… which is only 10-15mins drive from Dover Ferry Port!
We - AirMighty and Cool Flo - are going to organise a 'European Cruise' over to the show where we as international visitors we will get a big warm (and FREE entrance) welcome from the UK scene. This year Apex Festival have pleasure in hosting the infamous ‘Barn Door Camp Out’ organised by Mr Rikki James whom will be joining forces with Cool Flo and AirMighty to make this one very special event and promote the '1st European Barndoor Gathering & Vintage VW Show' in Amersfoort (NL) as well!

We had rain, it was wet and cold but nevertheless there was a great turnout! I counted 80 aircooled VWs in the 'AirMighty Cruise 2 Ninove' and the Freddy Files attracted 500+ aircooled cars in the citycenter of Ninove! We had a great day and as usual spoke to a lot of people, had a nice 'Witkap' beer and grabbed a burger. ;) This years 'AirMighty Choice Award' went to Harold Coolen for his freshly build Squareback, congrats dude!!
