Today we visited the 10th edition of the ‘Brillen & Ovalendag’ in Wilnis (NL). I took the ’51 CC out, and my friend Barry Krul pushed hard to get his Oval finished in time for its maiden voyage — and what a cool car it is. Brought the ’51 back to life for tomorrow’s Split & Oval Window Day in Wilnis. After a winter’s rest she had a small fuel hiccup, but Waldo at @vwbusbrothers worked his magic and she’s running beautifully again. A quick wash to clear the barn‑find dust and she’s ready for a sunny cruise. Will we see you out there? #airmighty #brillenenovalendag #vwbeetle #vintagevw

Yesterday, 17 May, we visited the PUUR Porsche Treffen at De Groene Heuvels in Ewijk. Between the many modern Porsche models, we also spotted some brilliant air‑coolers and a few very handsome 996s (yes, I’m a fan). A great location and a great day out.

Sunday May 10th we enjoyed a great day with a big part of our team of volunteers. Together we make all the AirMighty Shows and events happen! Without this crew it would not be possible!
We had a nice get together, enjoyed a nice rally over the beautiful Utrechtse Heuvelrug, and finished it off with a nice BBQ. A relaxing and great day spent with good friends! THX all for the support, trust and help everyone!

Halfway the rally there was a little stop, here they received water and the one and only “Bitterballen / Bitterballs Chips”. Still 45 minutes to drive over the beautiful Utrechtse Heuvelrug, and finished it off with a nice BBQ.

Here is the start of a little puzzle-rally we set up. Through the beautiful Utrechtse Heuvelrug by using a tulip-diagram, and finished it off with a nice BBQ.

Yesterday we enjoyed a great day with a big part of our team of volunteers that make all the AirMighty Shows and events happen! Without this crew it would not be possible in any way to organize the shows we do, and for this we like to thank them! Every time we try to do something else, and this year we had a “friendly” puzzle-rally through the Utrechtse Heivelrug by using a tulip-diagram, and finished it off with a cosy BBQ all tougher. Another relaxing and great day spent with good friends! THX all for the support, trust and help!

What a mega busy day at the Mai Käfertreffen 2026. Thanks to all who stopped by our stand for a chat, support us with collecting the new magazine and getting our Merch. Truly appreciate all the support given, it was well worth it again. Now somewhat sunburnt looking back at all pictures… hereby another set from our side to start the weekend 🤙🏻 #airmighty
